I am searching for the mathematical relationship between candlepower, footcandles etc to lumens.  I am trying to compare the intensity of different lighting fixtures in a catalog some are listed one way some the other.

Thanks,
DPA

RE: candlepower vs lumens

1 footcandle = 10.76 lumen per square meter (lux)

Probably need to verify this...

A foot-candle is a lumen/ft2
A lux is a lumen/m2

Thanks for all the responses.  They were very helpful.  It's amazing sometimes when you have 3 or 4 handbooks but one particular item is just not in any of them.
