Weird SW menus

Weird SW menus

Weird SW menus

(OP)
I installed SP1.1 and now something quite strange is hapenning with my Help menu. The items that appear in the help menu in a certain SW session are, apparently, "random".

A while ago I changed my help menu in SW 2004 to add some macros. When installing SW05 I kept my settings from 2004. I haven't noticed anything up to this last SP. First I opened SW, my macros were all over the place, in the help menu. I went to Tools/Customize/Menu and removed them one by one. It took me several attempts to correct the menu because, even after removing all my macros and clicking ok and getting back to SW, the help menu still didn't look the way I just set it up. Finally I fixed it in parts, assemblies and drawings, closed SW, then open it again and the help menu was messed up again. There's no point in fixing it because when I restart SW the help menu is again mixed up, always in a different way. It's not that it's back to a certain set up, the items appear in a random order and some of them are hidden or excluded from the menu. Sometimes I have the API help, sometimes not, same with SW help or About or What's new and so on.

I am running SW2005 SP1.1 and Windows XP Pro SP2 on a Dell Xeon 3.2 GHz, 2.0 GB RAM, nVidia Quadro FX-3000 with 256 MB video memory. The video driver is the latest tested and passed by SW.

RE: Weird SW menus

You going to have to be more spefic on what you mean by Messed up?

There was a problem with the help when SP1.1 was first released - See bottom of Thread559-115219. - It has since been fixed by SW. I got the offical email yesterday.
