Strange Meshes in symmetric parts

Strange Meshes in symmetric parts

Strange Meshes in symmetric parts

(OP)
I created a model that has symmetric parts. When I decide to run an analysis with half of the model I have good results, but when I try the entire model the solution diverges at the end of the analysis. When I look the results I can see that there is a big difference between the response of the two halfes.
Is there anything to do with the mesh?
Has anybody faced a problem like this?
What should I do?

Thanks in advance,

Bra

RE: Strange Meshes in symmetric parts

Probably nothing to do with your mesh, more likely to do with your restraints. If it's symmetric then it's easier to just model half and apply symmetry restraints rather than try and model a complete part.
