VALVES FOR INSTURMENTATION

VALVES FOR INSTURMENTATION

VALVES FOR INSTURMENTATION

(OP)
Hi, I’m designing boxes to contain electronic devices for scientific flights. Those boxes are sealed and pressurized because it will fly at 45 Km altitude and commercial electronics doesn’t work well in vacuum.

What I’m looking for is a kind of small valves for removing the air of inside and to put clean dry gas in the interior before the take-off, once the instrument is flying no operations will be performed with the valves.

I would like to know if there is a special kind of valves for instrumentation (low size and weight) and where can I find it. I am thinking in a 0.81 inches bellows valve for extracting the air and 1/4 inches check valve for put in
the gas, but we think that a kind of valve as the one for car wheels or gas stoves will work as well (but we don´t know any company to sell us):(

Thank you very much in advance,
Pedro J. Rodriguez
