Chaining tolerance

Chaining tolerance

(OP)
Hi all,
I am having a problem with spline creation. It is starting with a face that was originally created by sketch that was tangently connected arcs. I then extruded another face with face normals and taper. When I create my spline by combined projection it fails because of non tangent faces. If I create spline by intersect it creates corners and I have to clean up the spline and in turn loose my accuracy. I notice most of the tolerances are .001 in the dialogs and system precision can be set to 11 decimal places. My chaining tolerance was set .000001 for FYI. To accurate I think but how do you get around this? And tolerance build up?

Thanks in advance!
