SYMBOL MANAGER

(OP)
CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO SWITCH MY SYMBOLS SO THEY CAN COME IN UNDER A CERTAIN LAYER FOR EXAMPLE SYMBOL. RIGHT NOW ITS COMING UNDER THE CURRENT LAYER ON THE SCREEN

RE: SYMBOL MANAGER

Assuming you are using the symbol manager, after selecting the desired symbol, click the edit button, then enter the layer name in the box located at the upper right labeled layer.

PS Save the caps for yelling and drawing in CAD.

RE: SYMBOL MANAGER

As an alternate suggestion, you can select which objects or symbols to change layer from and use the layer popdown list to instruct ACAD which layer to change to.  ACAD should highlite the lines and select ESC to make the change to that layer assuming you have created new layer.  Hope this helps - John
