Hi All,

I have a question on how would I dimension a drawing so the machine shop would do a couple of measurements on another part?
Here is my problem:  I am using aluminum 3/4" pipe (part A) which has an OD range of 1.019-1.065 and NOM value of 1.050.  I am machining an oring groove to fit 2-021 oring.  I am making another part (B) to mate with this but due to the large range in the OD of the pipe, how do I dimension the ID of part B?

P.S.  I do not want to machine the OD of the pipe; I do not want to induce machining stresses outside of the interface of the 2 parts due to my application.
