Question for FE Exam
Question for FE Exam
(OP)
What calculator would everyone recommend for the FE exam? I have a Texas Instruments TI-86 that I have used for years and feel comfortable with, but I am not sure a 'programmable' calculator is allowed. Any thoughts?

RE: Question for FE Exam
Hewlett Packard – HP 33s
Hewlett Packard – HP 9s
Casio – FX 115 MS and FX 115 MS Plus
Texas Instruments – TI 30X IIS and TI 30X IIB
Texas Instruments – TI 36X Solar
If it's not on the list, they'll take it away from you.
cheers,

RE: Question for FE Exam
Thanks for your info., I keep taking the FE and failed 2 times already, this will be my 3rd time. But thanks for the calculator information. Do you know what link to apply online after you have the login/passwords provided. I don't see any link for online application. Thank you.

I have an older model, HP-41CX that just gave up the ghost. The on/off switch shorted out and blew the main circut board, bummer. I have since being using a backup, HP-15c.
