Reboiler Water Quality Guidlines

(OP)
We are looking at generating 650psig steam using a kettle reboiler and a thermal fluid heater as the heat input.  I am looking for a published water quality specification for the reboiler feed water to follow. I am aware of the ASME water quality specification for water tube boilers and if I can not find any thing else then I will use this as a minimum.  Does any one know of a guide for this application?

RE: Reboiler Water Quality Guidlines

Try EPRI report TR-113692. This report is the guidelines to makeup water treatment.

RE: Reboiler Water Quality Guidlines

An alternative to the ASME standard are the VGB standards and guidelines produced by VGB PowerTech e.V. These are a European standard. See www.vgb-power.de or www.vgb.org for more information.
