Looking for Incoming Inspection Database

Looking for Incoming Inspection Database

Looking for Incoming Inspection Database

(OP)
I am looking for a database that I can record and track incoming material inspection reports and supplier non-conformances.  Access, Excel, etc........would be great.  Freeware or software to be purchased, either is acceptable.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Cygnas

RE: Looking for Incoming Inspection Database

Try this location for an opensource "equivalent" to MSOffice, Lotus etc.  There is a spreadsheet/database program within the package.  It is quite a download, but I like what I have seen and used so far.

Thanks for the link............best part is that it's free.

RE: Looking for Incoming Inspection Database

I have an MS Access database I used while performing 3rd party inspections. It is a relational database with the following relationshios/tables

Customers >Projects>PO's>POShippingItems>INspections>ActionsTaken etc. It may be something you can use with some modification. There is a demo at http://www.weldinginspectionsvcs.com/qcdatabasedownload.htm and if you think it's something you can use let me know.
