Looking for a filter

Looking for a filter

Looking for a filter

(OP)
I am working on a soil disinfection system that injects steam into the soil. The steam is vacuumed using pipes to force it all the way through the soil.
As you would expect the soil particles block the pipe within minutes. I am looking for a filter that can stop this happening
Any suggestion would be most valuable.

Thanks

Will

RE: Looking for a filter

Extraction wells use what is called a filter pack.  The filter pack is composed of well-rounded sand, placed in the annular space between the screened portion of the casing (pipe) and the formation.  The grain size of the filter pack is determined by the formation grain size.
