Sampling for Ammonium Bisulfide

Sampling for Ammonium Bisulfide

Sampling for Ammonium Bisulfide

(OP)
It has been recommended that we sample the sour water stream that runs between the High Pressure and Low Pressure Separators in our Hydrocracking Unit. We will be sampling for Ammunium Bisulfide and I was curious as to whether or not we need to use a special closed sampling system (sample bomb), and whether we need to add a fixing agent to the sample to keep the ionic compound from disociating.

Any advice would be appreciated.

-Gord
