Differences between JCO and UOE Line Pipe

Differences between JCO and UOE Line Pipe

(OP)
Does anyone know of a published study or paper which deals with the differences in quality control requirements and in field behaviour of line pipe manufactured by the JCO process on the one hand, and by the UOE process on the other hand?

JCO - plates pressed in J form first, then in C form and then in O form before before longitudinal welding. Welding is followed by cold expansion. Apparently the newer of the two processes.

UOE - plates pressed in U form, then in O form before longitudinal welding. E stands for cold expansion after welding.

Thanks for your help
