Has anyone Ported PDM Works to an eMatrix environment?

Has anyone Ported PDM Works to an eMatrix environment?

Have a current arguement going on which PDM system to use, I prefer PDMWorks but the company has eMatrix, and from what I've heard the eMatrix UI is a disaster.  Any words from people using solidworks and eMatrix?

Thanks

J

RE: Has anyone Ported PDM Works to an eMatrix environment?

I use UG with it but the integration interface is the same. Stick with PDM/Works, the ematrix interface blows in comparison. I'll see if I can post a pic tomorrow.

I would look into using the PDM/works advanced server and triggers to tie both together maybe.

Thanks Jason, we're supposed to get a preview of it today, we'll see.  I've looked into PDM advanced server, and right now it's possible, but not created.  The same company that wrote eDrawings for SW is writing an AP for a file loader for direct link between.  This is the 2nd best way I think.  Right now, checking in pdf to Matrix is safe and simple, I'd like to see the data stay out of Matrix and in PDMW.  Post the pic if you can!!  And if you could, name the biggest drawbacks.  Can it support configurations, references, etc.

Thanks,

John

1. Yes I saw it today.
2. I have a headache.
3. Pushing for PDM Works.
