Mold drawings-inserting dimensions

Mold drawings-inserting dimensions

(OP)
Hi Folks,
Long time listener, first time caller. I have created a male tool from using mold design chapter 20 of sworks.
Here's the problem: When I go to make a drawing to produce the new tool, the dimensions won't insert. Hmm? anything I should be looking at to turn on/off?

Frustrating since I have to build this part soon.

Thanks!

RE: Mold drawings-inserting dimensions

In your drawing "View Manager", make sure that all options in the Annotations section are selected.

Also check that the dimensions are not going into a "hidden" layer.

& all the best.

RE: Mold drawings-inserting dimensions

If CorBlimeyLimey's suggestion doesn't work, I'd guess the feature you're trying to create was made with the Cavity feature in an assembly.  If so, dimensions will not propagate to a drawing (at least, I wouldn't expect them to do so).  You can add them manually if that's the case and if you have your Annotations switched on.
