Find the motor you want and pull up the data sheet.

Most motor-manufacturers will have their motor-data on the web. I was not always able to find the LRA of a motor on the web, but certainly the manufacturer will provide you with the info if you contact them.
The LRA of a motor can range between between 500% and 1400% of the FLA, and for a good motor between 550% and 750%. As a rule of thump you can take the LRA to be 600% of the FLA.

Anyone know of good sources like this for Medium Voltage IEC motors? I find it easy to get info on motors for North America, but difficult to find things like motor FLAs, pf, etc for MV motors used in other parts of the world. I know that 10kV and up are usually made to order, but I am looking for info on 3.3 and 6.6kV common motors. Any ideas?

RE: Motor estimators
I've checked all the motor-manufacturers I'm familiar with who supply MV-motors in South Africa. (an IEC-country) Unfortunately I found no such data on their web-sites, the best would be to contact them and then to ask for the necessary information. Manufacturers who I'm familiar with are:
ABB
http://www.abb.com/motors&drives
Siemens
http://w
Alstom
??
Zest (for WEG)
http://www.zest.co.za/frameproducts.htm
This is from a South African viewpoint. Maybe there are other IEC-manufacturers, but I am not familiar with them.
Hope it helps
Regards
