Using Toleranced Dimensions in Notes

Using Toleranced Dimensions in Notes

Using Toleranced Dimensions in Notes

(OP)
Is it possible to insert a toleranced dimension into a note on a drawing? I tried using the real dimesion (with the tolerance already defined) as well as a dimension I created just in the drawing and in both cases the note only show the nominal dimension. I am trying to create a note that calls out the hole pattern on an API flange.

RE: Using Toleranced Dimensions in Notes

As far as I know, you cannot "implant" the tolerance into a note ... just the dimension. You will have to add the tolerance manually.

& all the best.

RE: Using Toleranced Dimensions in Notes

I agree w/CBL. Also in 2005 you can add top/bottom fractions to notes.
