Pressure drop pipeline

Pressure drop pipeline

Pressure drop pipeline

(OP)
Hallo to everybody! I'm searching information about pressure drop correlations and friction factors! I think the best way is to talk with people who deal with this problem every day! So...if you can help me...I need information on pressure drop methods pipeline correlations (such as AGA, Panhandle, Weymouth and Oliphant) like range of using, formula and so on...

Thank you very for the attention and the help!

RE: Pressure drop pipeline

The de facto reference is the Crane Technical Paper No. 410.

RE: Pressure drop pipeline

Check API 14E...there is a discussion with application limitations on pipe line pressure drop and sizing calculations for each of the methods you mentioned.  I'll review my copy later this evening and see if it addresses you needs.  If it does, I'll site edition, chapter and verse for you to look up.

Regards,

RE: Pressure drop pipeline

Hi Dan81,

The best correlation for pipeline is that of Beggs and Brill.

Chech this reference:

Two phase flow in pipe by James P. Brill and H. Dale Beggs

hope this will help.
