Curved plate deflection under load

Curved plate deflection under load

Curved plate deflection under load

(OP)
Hi all,
My question relates to design of beam to support a curved plate 364mm long 42mm wide 3mm thich under o loading point 195mm from one end and a load area of 11mmx2mm the load is approx 10kilos> I want to calculate the deflection along the plate and design a beam to suit and hopefully standardise a method of calculating this for different arching heights with the plate. Any info will be greatfully recieved

RE: Curved plate deflection under load

I'm unclear what you are asking.  Is the curved plate to be supported at the ends?  If so, where are the supports for the beam?  Such small loads and lengths would not require extensive design unless you plan on a lot of them.
