(OP)
I am looking for information about materials for wire/cabling for cross-country electrical power transmission. Does anyone know where to look for information about the materials for this type of functionality?

Thank you,
Jin

RE: Cross-country Electrical Wire/Cable Materials

Most information can be obtained thru IEEE standards;

http://standards.ieee.org/catalog/olis/td.html

Keep in mind that most TSO's and utilities have their own specific specifications for conductors.
