Info on material development in Gunstocks

(OP)
I am looking for some material advancements over the past couple of decades in gunstock making. I am in a gunsmithing class and trying to decide on what type of gunstocks are out there and what is the best to go with. I know there are wood, laminate, and synthetic stocks out there, but which is the best to go with. List of materials injection molded into the synthetics would be very helpful.

RE: Info on material development in Gunstocks

you may have the wrong forum...all I can do is draw you a gunstock...
