FORGING ZK60F MAGNESIUM

We are researching forging prototype parts with ZK60F magnesium. Does anyone have any specs for this? ie:
1 - Die temperature range
2 - Billet pre-heat temperature
3 - Strain rates and flow stresses vs 6061 alum
4 - Forging lubricants to try, and temp
5 - Cooling rate after forging
6 - Heat treatment
7 - Extinguisher to put out the fire in case of ignition
We have experience machining and finishing mag, and have used sand/floor dry to extinguish small chip fires, but no experience forging and heat treating.

As CoryPad mentioned, the ASM Handbooks are an excellent source of this information. Volume 14 Forming and Forging has the bulk of this, but Volume 4Heat Treating and Volume 2Properties and Selection: Nonferrous Alloys and Special-Purpose Materials would also be helpful. Regarding lubricants, I would contact Acheson or Bechem. Hydro Magnesium has some good information on handling of magnesium (fire, etc.), including a booklet you can download. Stacking of magnesium billets in a furnace can lead to temperature variability and the potential for fire (see ASM Handbook Vol 14 article).
