Tapered shells

Tapered shells

(OP)
Hi,
Im modeling a nacelle cover of a windturbine, using layered shell-elements.
Now I how to model some stiffeners in the nacelle, and want to have a nice transition from the plates to the stiffeners.
In practice this is done by using tapered foam between the layers.
Now I've tried to model this by defining different thicknesses at the corners (i.j.k.l) of a specific layer.
But when I mesh the specific 'transition' area's and turn on /eshape some elements are perfect while other are not.
The sequence of i,j,k,l is different for each area ???
Is there any way to control or get information of the sequence amesh is using to form its elements.

Thanks
