Mouse Pan, Rotate & Zoom Delay

Mouse Pan, Rotate & Zoom Delay

Mouse Pan, Rotate & Zoom Delay

(OP)
When panning, rotating or zooming, there seems to be a slight delay before the operation starts.(UG NX2).
This problem not specific to one type of computer. It occurs in our P3s right thru the range to our P4 3.2s

Is there a setting that we can use to diminish the delay?
or is it part of the program? Help!

RE: Mouse Pan, Rotate & Zoom Delay

go to preferences visualization performance large model and turn 'view frustum culling' off . This could help.

RE: Mouse Pan, Rotate & Zoom Delay

(OP)
Turning off 'view frustum culling' did not make any diffirence. Maybe there is a setting somewhere in one of the definition, *.def, or menu, *.men, files. Maybe someone has found the setting elsewhere?
In addition to the above query, does anyone know whether one can swap the pan and rotate buttons of the mouse? It becomes a big problem when work in UG, Catia and M/Desktop. You just can't seem to get going. My fingers feel pretty stupid by now!
