In SW 2005 the shiny material appears as it should. In SW 2004 any of the shiny materials show up as dull colors. Can any body tell me why? Thanks in advance.

I think it might be a change in your direct or ambient light settings.

Are you using RealView in 05 and not in 04?

I noticed the default new part template will have a lavender light off to the right side, so if you haven't changed your template, you'll see more specular highlights.  Check your lighting tab and see if there are any differences.
