Low fill volumes with a flow meter based filling process

Low fill volumes with a flow meter based filling process

(OP)
Hello,
I have a problem with a filling process where vessels are filled with a particular volume of liquid based on pulses from a flow meter. It appears that when the pressure drops in the feed line the fill volume also decreases. This occurs especially when a more viscous liquid is being filled. What could be the cause of these fluctuations in fill volume? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

RE: Low fill volumes with a flow meter based filling process

Have you asked the flow meter supplier? There may be limits on its capability to do with both pressure and viscosity.
