stone arch lintel

(OP)
I have a situation where I need to support a 6" stone veneer over an arched opening. we want the stone to "wrap" under the arch (ie no exposed steel lintel) Its a very flat arch. Nothing at each end to support the thrust of a true arch. Is there any concealed system out there to support natural stone in this condition?

RE: stone arch lintel

I have used cast-in-place concrete with a brick veneer arch/soffit.  You line the falsework with brick that have anchors to engage the conrete.  Once the beam is cast and the forms removed all you see is brick.  You will need a method of anchoring the stone into the concrete, but there may be a method out there.
