Problems in Draft View

Problems in Draft View

Problems in Draft View

(OP)
On occasion, I get problems with my draft views of assemblies. My standard side views are all correct, but then the isometric view is incorrect. Lines are missing from parts, objects cross through each other with solid lines when I have hidden lines turned off. It is frustrating as I use the isometric view as a sales tool and it does not look correct. This has happened on several drawings, from simple three part assemblies to twenty-five part assemblies.

Can anyone offer any help on this?

Thanks,
Kevin

RE: Problems in Draft View

We have had the same problems here, mainly with springs and where parts interfere (such as a bolt in a threaded plate). The problems goes away on small assemblies for the interference problem with the option "Process Part Intersections" checked in the draft view properties. Otherwise, I had to redo the views, which is timeconsuming and yes very frustrating.

Thank you, Vriyg. I turned on the "Process Part Intersections" and than updated the view and it has corrected itself. I too have redone views over and over to have it suddenly go away.
