Solenoid Valves

Solenoid Valves

Solenoid Valves

(OP)
Looking for a 3-way, S/S, Normally Closed, 12vdc-low power Pneumatic Solenoid Valves for -40F service. One at a Cv=0.7 min and the other at a Cv=3.00 min. It must exhaust a 2" and 8" (respectively) ball valve equipped with a actuator(port=0.7Cv and 3.00Cv) in 2.0 sec or less. I have tried some off-the-shelf solenoids rated to -40F, but closing times at -40F were too slow. Ambient speeds were OK. I have surfed the web and have made numerous contacts, but have not had any success. I would appreciate any assistance.
Thanks

I'm working for years now with Pneumatic valves as Turbine control valves and Stop valves.  We got closing time of 1/3sec for 12 - 20" stop valve and 0.7 to 1.2 sec for control valve.
For ON/OFF valve I use the solenoid to operate 1/2" pneumatic pilot valve in combination with quick exsaust valves to get the high speed emergency close.
For analog valves I use volume boosters (one for each side of the actuator) it is very expensive (more then 1,000$ for the two boosters, 3/4" pipe diameter) but it gives the results and it cheaper then Hydraulick system.
If you need vendor list,  please write and I will collect it.
Cheer up

Thanks ilan. I think the quick exhaust may solve my problem.
