PDF Creation using MicroStation 95

PDF Creation using MicroStation 95

(OP)
With Adobe 6 loaded on my pc, using 95, I can't create a PDF file that can be accessed. I get the message "Acrobate could not open file "XXX" because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been corrupted" Also note I was told a Distiller was no longer required.

What steps are required?

RE: PDF Creation using MicroStation 95

I've always used Distiller for creating a PDF files. The steps were as follows:
1) create a PostScript file from Ustation
2) create PDF file from PostScript file using Distiller

Maybe there is an another way how to create the PDF, but you need appropriate plotter driver.

RE: PDF Creation using MicroStation 95

The latest version of IPLOT organizer has an "export PDF" command that produces EXCELLENT pdf's. It automatically includes bookmarks, too.
