screw/pitch

(OP)
I figured out how to simultaneously rotate the screw while inserting it linearly.  However, i would like to know how to accurately set the amount of rotations for a certain pitch while maintaing the correct linear distance.

RE: screw/pitch

Create an equation

linear dist = pitch (linear/rev) * revs

and drive the revolution parameter....

I have a tutorial on the subject (Advanced Motion part 1 & 2) on my site.
