Coupling thermal analisys with another thermal analisys.

(OP)
Hello,

I'm working with ANSYS.
I want to make a thermal analisys, and then i want to apply thermal result as displacement in a new thermal analisys in witch I will erase some elements (node and ele number will remain the same). Can i do it? I have to use ldread or physics, read?

Thanks all

RE: Coupling thermal analisys with another thermal analisys.

Use LDREAD to read your *.rth file in and apply as a thermal-structural loadcase. Make sure your elements in the structural analysis have the applicable structural DOF (Ux, Uy, etc..).

Cheers,
