Sheet Format/Size - popup window!

Sheet Format/Size - popup window!

Sheet Format/Size - popup window!

(OP)
Whenever i modify the core "Drawing.drwdot" (to change arrow sizes, fonts, etc), and save it back to the Drawing Template file, i always loose the Popup "Sheet Format/Size" window everytime i want to create a new drawing.  Is there a setting somewhere that turns this window back on???

Regards,

PJ

RE: Sheet Format/Size - popup window!

Nope this only comes with the SW default template. Once saved you lose that function. You must set up more then one template fro all your Sheet types.

Darn....that window is so handy too.
What about opening up a new part file and selecting what plane to start on automaticly, is that option available?

Regards,
PJ.

RE: Sheet Format/Size - popup window!

No not exactly.

If you toggle under Tools\options\System options\Sketch "Create sketch on new part" that will start a sketch on the front plane. You cannot control which plane in which to start the sketch on.

RE: Sheet Format/Size - popup window!

I have made a template containing only a single rectangular-base-extrude. Most of the times when I create a new part I use this one and simply change the dimensions. This might be a solution for you.
