SW2005 SP0.1 and WindowsXP SP1 & Windows 2000 SP4

(OP)
Hi everyone,

Following on from the SP1.0 (Production) for SW2005, is anybody running SW2005 SP0.1 with OS's XP SP1 & Windows 2000.
We want to upgrade from SW2004 but are aware of the Installer bug.
We have to go to SW2005 in order to solve a WebPortal problem when using PDMWorks.
If it's just a case of minor irrotations then i'm sure we can cope. But, I would like to know if any one has some major issues.
We are running upto 16 seats of SW2004 Off Pro with a floating Network License.

Regards

Andy

RE: SW2005 SP0.1 and WindowsXP SP1 & Windows 2000 SP4

SP0.1 supports XP SP2 you can XP SP1 if you want that's fine SW is just unstable if you run SW SP0 on XP SP2.

As for installer issues, there really isn't, some people have seen error codes, but most of the ones I have seen come back to permission errors. You can install SW05 SP0 on a machine with XP SP2. Just be sure to install the SP0.1 after that.
