Hello:

I would appreciate if somebody could send me some info on mechanical properties of that alloy. I also know that Lomalloy L-9 is a brand name and would like to know if there is an equivalent intl. standard to compare against.

                                       Thank you.

RE: LOMALLOY L-9

There is an alloy steel fastener material called Lamalloy L-9, which is reported to be higher strength in comparison to Grade 8 fasteners . There were several web hits that listed bolt suppliers carrying this material. They have mechanical specifications for this fastener.
