Dredging Terminology

(OP)
What is a "Bulclaimer" and where to find a picture, diagram or design example?

RE: Dredging Terminology

(OP)
Just give MYSELF an answer, otherwise it remains too long at ZERO:

Bulk-claimer
It is a converted bulk carrier into a marine sand carrier.
The size is abt. 55,000 Tons DW.
Will have the suction pumps on its deck.
Was in fact used in Singapore for the huge dredging works.
It entails a "double-handling" principle and the actual dredgers could remain on or nearly on site.
The contract has a stipulation / condition that the vessel should be converted back to a normal seagoing bulk-carrier again!
Whether this all worked out well according to plans?......

Cheerio!
(I did some queries "elsewhere")
