Prefereneces - User Interface Backup

(OP)
I would like to create a backup disk of my
Prefereneces - User Interface for my tool palette layout.  Does anyone know the file name/path of this file so I can put it on a floppy for use on another station?  I am on NX2

RE: Prefereneces - User Interface Backup

This is a good question.

In the customize toolbars there is an option to 'save layout' and it will even output a .rws file. However, I have found no way to restore the layout from this file (and a coworker of mine called GTAC to no avail).

My guess is that toolbar settings are stored in registry settings (assuming you are on a Windows machine). With the right know how and a little luck you could probably export registry settings and import them on the other machine (though I don't recommend this).
