Dimension font

Dimension font

Dimension font

(OP)
1) Can dim font be smaller than font 8 (if I dont want to type in the exact dim size in inches)?
2) Can dim and arrow size be made to change automatically according to the paper size? If I use a bigger paper, I want the dims and arrows to show up bigger.

Thanks to all

RE: Dimension font

1) Type in a number manually
2) You will have to set up Templates for each size of border and arrow size, but if you change the size from B to C the arrow size will not update automatically and you cannot reload a template either.

RE: Dimension font

mkmech,
You can set the font smaller than 8 pts just by typing the point size you want.
You can also set your document properties to reflect the changes in your font size and your leaders etc..., you will have to save each of your titleblocks seperatly because you will be changing the document properties and they are file specific. I hope this was clear.

Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

RE: Dimension font

per all drafting standards, the arrows have to be a certain size and dimension lettering to be .125 high.
