Choosing of contactor AC.

Choosing of contactor AC.

Choosing of contactor AC.

(OP)
Equipment: AC motor Delta connection, 380V
P=30kW I=59A - S1 100% Duty
P=45Kw I=87A - S6 40% Duty

Since this motor is used in S6-40% duty does it mean that both contactor and overaload equipment should be choosen according to 87A current or I am wrong?

RE: Choosing of contactor AC.

I think you are completely right!!! Otherwise it will constantly be tripping out on overload....
