Is there some way to turn off dimension previews? When creating a dimension, say between two lines, the previewed dimension value is shown at the cursor location, which often makes it difficult to make the second selection.

thanks!

RE: Dimension previews

I don't follow Dim previews?

Are you talking about inputting a dim or after you insert a dim you see the dim?

If your in a sketch you can't turn off or hide dims. But after you extrude a sketch the dims can be hidden under Annotation in the FeatureManger. RMB and unselect the option you need. There are 3 to choose from.

sorry, should have been more clear...this occurs in drawings...create a dim from line to line, select first line, you now have the dim value centered on your mouse cursor...

Doh!

RE: Dimension previews

I can't run SolidWorks this morning. But can't you right click on a dim and select hide? I don't remember.
