I have bee sent a fax (soon to have the data on a excel) the points are for a 2d curve, what’s the most effective way of generating a 2d curve from these points, To then revolve to get a model?

Thanks

RE: points 2d

What you need to do is first convert the excel data to a .txt file. Then use "Insert- Curve Through Free Points"

You will then have to browse to the .txt file and open it.

You should now see your curve generated on your screen. If you want to revolve that curve you may have to create a seperate sketch and convert the curve entities  and then draw a centerline to revolve about.

Hope this helps!

Jon
