Is this a reasonable axle stress for a 6x4 tractor unit?

Is this a reasonable axle stress for a 6x4 tractor unit?

(OP)
Hi there,
I need to work out the approximate stress in the half shafts of the rear axle set of a 6x4 tractor unit. So far I have the following:

Engine torque: ~1500 Nm
overall gear ratio: ~1:65
Torque at wheels: ~97500 Nm
Torque in each half shaft: ~24375 Nm
Stress in 70 mm half shaft: ~360 MPa

This seems high to me, can anyone tell me if this looks right. I guess with a case hardened axle, the yield stress could be up around 600-700 MPa though.

Cheers
