I would like to know how to calculate energy savings(kwh)by using a VFD. Please show formulas or equations on how to get from lower speeds savings on power consumption. Thanks.

While there are a lot of generous experienced people out here, this is not forum to circumvent your own hard work that you need to do for your own benefit.
Getting back to your question, please refer to some mechanical and fluid dynamics text books, hand books and search web sites which will show you the formulas indicatiing relationships between speed (rmp) and fluid flow (cfm, gpm) and power etc. The refer to some charts and publicaitons for the pumps or fans in question.
Also contact some manufaturers of VFD's or web sites. They may be able to assist you.

Assuming the admins don't kill this thread under suspicion of it being a student trying to get free homework, I would prefer to see you descibe a specific problem you are having and ask for "tips" (hence the name of the forum!). It is as if you want to have people in this forum give you free engineering for something you probably should pay for.
So here is a tip (as rbulara mentioned above).
Almost all of the major VFD manufacturers provide some sort of software program which will calculate the expected energy savings when you enter the specific data on your application. Check those out. It is usually free, but of course it will only pick out THEIR drive. That is how the engineering development and update costs are paid for.
