Every time I reboot my computer, Windows XP requires activation. Anyone has an idea why is that?

Discribe exactly what the message says, and did you try reinstalling it?

the first time installation was never activated, you need to re- install .

My Windows XP was activated thru an 1-800 #. There was something wrong with the installation. Since then I reinstalled Win XP, activated and everything was and is fine.
