Steel Building

Steel Building

Does anyone has information about steel (corrugated metal or similar materials) building for a proposed auto repair facility.  The owner wants to go for metal structure since it is cheaper, at least he thinks so.  However, the city requires any steel building to have non-steel appearnce (i.e, conceal with stucco or other panels). Also, What would be the construction cost per sft as compared to masonry or wood frame building?  The plan is to add a 2000 sft auto repair facility with the existing steel (metal) building?  Thanks in advance.

Here's another link to automobile buildings:

The home page is www.usabldg.com

Pricing is going to vary greatly depending on location, spans, type of cladding, construction conditions, etc.
You may want to get some quotes to develop your budget numbers.
