Feel I may have toggled something on or off in either document properties or system options.

Experimenting with some drawing settings yesterday. Now I am no longer able to snap a line to the mid point of a part in a drawing. If this is any help a dialog box pops up which reads,

Please select entities from the same drawing view

Thanks in advance for your help.

Here you can make sure you have the options check-marked that you need.

Hope this is what you were looking for.

RE: Sketch entities in drawings

It sounds like your sketched line is not associated with the view the part is in.

Right-click the view and "Lock view focus".  Then draw your sketch and you should be able to tie it to the part.

Both options worked.

Thank You
