Where can I find a text that deals solely with the calculations of metal removal (drilling, milling, thrust,torque,sfm,ipm,hp etc.)

hi,
the best thing i can recommend to you is too investigate the Machinery's hankbook this contains general guides to cutting speeds and feeds isbn no#0-8311-1155-0 for most metal forming/machining proceesses if you have an oddball material to machine refer back to the tool manufacturer.

Go to www.titex.com they have some software that will do the trick .It is called TEC it will give you feeds and speeds .
