I have seen a good bit of interest in design of pole buildings. This document seems to be out of print, and the AWPI appears to be "gone". Have "disassembled" my copy (Sixth Edition), scanned the pages, and have it available for free download (50 pages, 3.43 MB .pdf) at

Quite a bit of the information is dated (wind speed map, lumber sizes/properties, etc.), but much of the document is still relevant.

Thank you for posting this reference.  It's a good design guide,  I use to have a copy but could not find it several weeks ago when I was working on a pole embedment problem.
