Want to create new category in Hole Wizard

Want to create new category in Hole Wizard

(OP)

Now that we know how to copy or Hole Wizard Standard Data, we decided that we'd like to expand on the Hole Wizard choices as well. What we'd like to do is add a category called "Dowels". Maybe it could be another selection under "Holes" or maybe it'll end up being a separate Tab...depends on what's possible and what we like. We'd like a category for Slip Fit Dowels, Press Fit Dowels, and one for Press Fit Dowels with Knockout Hole.

I played around with it for a while and got nowhere in SolidWorks, but opening the:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Solidworks Data\lang\English\SWBrowser.mdb
and editing it in Access did allow me to add categories under Holes, but back in SW I would get an "Error in Table". I had initially copied the “good” Clearance Screws Table and renamed it "Dowels" just to see if it would work. Then after the error message I deleted the Clearance Screw Table and renamed my "erroneous" dowel table to "Clearance Screw"...and the Clearance Screw choices worked fine so the table “should” be good.

Anybody have any experience with this? Do I have to just muddle thru Access, or should I not even bother?

Thanks,
Ken
