Flow Through Wire Screen

Flow Through Wire Screen

(OP)
I'm trying to find information about the relationship between Flow Rate, Area, Velocity, Mesh SIze, Viscosity.

I'm trying to determine what diameter shell I would need (as in a filter vessel) if I desired a certain flow rate of water through a certain mesh size screen, at a certain pressure/temperature.

Any thoughts or directions to references...?

Thanks as always,

CW3
